UPPSC
The UPPSC or Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Uttar Pradesh.
UPPSC recruits candidates using multiple modes. These include
- On the basis of Interview only.
- On the basis of screening test & interview.
- On the basis of examination only.
- On the basis of examination & interview
- On the basis of Preliminary Examination, Main Examination & Interview.
UPPSC is also involved in cases of promotions, disciplinary actions and formulation, administration and modification of service rules. UPPSC also tenders advice to the U.P. Government regarding all service and personnel related matters
Examinations are conducted by the Commission from time to time. Direct recruitment through interviews is only as per the service rules of various posts. The following is a list of all the major exams conducted by the Commission
- Combined State/Upper Subordinate Preliminary Examination.
- Combined State/Upper Subordinate Main Examination.
- Combined State/Lower Subordinate Examination.
- R.O/A.R.O Preliminary Examination (Only for the Commission)
- R.O/A.R.O Main Examination (Only for the Commission)
- A.P.S. Examination (Only for the Commission and secretariat of U.P. and Revenue)
- Assistant Registrar Examination
- Combined State Engineering Examination.
- U.P. Nyayic Seva (Junior Division) Examination
- Assistant Prosecuting Officers Examination
